Resolved - Microsoft resolved the issue they were having and email is flowing normally again.

Monitoring - Microsoft is making progress but still working to resolve the issue with Office 365 email. Some of the delayed emails that are in our out-going queue have gone out but there are still some waiting to be delivered.

Investigating - Microsoft is having issues.
* Email sent to people using Microsoft on-line email is being delayed or not going through at all.
* The Office 365 admin portal is also down so we have not been able to get an official status. I have another tool that shows other Office 365 customers are having the same issue.

Resolved - The work around that we put in place on Thur 1/8 about noon resolved the issue with the Chromebook wifi connections.

Update - We put in a second work around for the Chromebooks about 12:45p this afternoon. This is getting much better results. I am hopeful we are close to normal.

Update - The change that we made last night looked promising but failed this morning under heavier load. We have another work around in place at ITS and the HS the looks promising. We may need to put the work around in place at the middle and elementary school servers but think they may be ok with the changes from last night since they are on a lighter server load.

Monitoring - Additional setting changes have been made to all the school servers. It seemed to work well under light load. Hopefully it will work well under heavy load.

Investigating - Chromebooks are having connectivity issues this morning again. We are investigating.

Monitoring - The server changes have been applied. Things should be back to close to normal.

Identified - The issue has been identified in the recently upgraded Windows 2025 server network card driver. We are working on implementing changes to fix the issue. Chrome books should start connecting reliably to SKAccess as we work through the servers.

Update - The chrome books are intermittently connecting. They are randomly having trouble getting network IP addresses. We are still looking for the cause of the issue.

Resolved - The issue with the teacher laptop hasn't had any additional issues. There may still be a few laptops that will need to be hard wired to get the updated config.

Monitoring - The district laptop wireless configuration was modified during the server upgrades over the holiday break and sent out a bad configuration. The configuration error has been corrected, however action maybe required on some laptops.

Laptops that were powered off or not connected to the network over the holiday break, should not see the issue.

If your laptop picked up the bad configuration, it will not connect to SKWireless. To resolve the issue, connect the laptop to a hardware, boot up and login to pull the updated configuration from the network. Once it has the new config, it will connect to SKWireless again.
